What happens when you invite everyone on the street over for brunch? Sometimes homemade cinnamon rolls. Always new friendships.

Neighbor Brunch is an ongoing experiment in hospitality and community building. As my neighborhood undergoes changes in demographics and zoning, I wanted to create a space for fostering connections. Every month or so, posters are put up along my street (4 blocks long) inviting everyone over for brunch. People show up with a brunch dish in hand, and we spend some time meeting neighbors new and old, sharing stories, and, of course, eating!
